Owner + Master Aesthetician, Veronica Veras Medina, graduated from Catherine Hinds Institute of Aesthetics in 1997. She has over 20 years of experience and extensive knowledge of advance skin care treatments for every skin concern.
Veronica is committed to providing each client with the ultimate pampering experience keeping the highest standards and is trusted expert for many. In addition, she loves teaching our team her secrets to carry on the Essential way.
Veronica opened Essential in Dedham in 2017 after operating Essential in Chestnut Hill and Wellesley. Come visit her and see her magic for yourself! Veronica speaks English and Spanish.
Owner, Kelly Bennett, oversees the business management, marketing, and development of the spa. Kelly began her aesthetics career in 2002 on the Upper East Side of NYC. She ran the Division of Facial Plastics and Reconstruction Surgery at Boston Medical Center before transitioning to private practice in Chestnut Hill, where she met Veronica.
Kelly loves helping people find approachable solutions to their aging and skincare concerns with transparent, attainable advice. Building confidence in others is her ultimate passion. This is evident in her work at Essential in addition to her work with the Girl Scouts as a troop leader and her family photography.
Christina Hanzis Gomez, FNP, is a board certified Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. She received her degree from University of Massachusetts, Worcester and works at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center.
She has been in the aesthetics industry for many years and has a passion for injecting and making people feel more confident. Nurse Christina specializes in Botox and facial optimization with dermal filler helping you turn back time with a visit!

Stephanie joined Essential in 2020 with over 10 years of massage therapy and aesthetic experience. Stephanie loves welcoming and pampering friends - old and new - at Essential. Stephanie specializes in orthopedic massage; however, she is extremely experienced in soothing massage and loves providing people with a much needed relaxing escape. Stephanie brings a passion for skincare and making people feel confident in their skin.
Stephanie is available on Tuesday-Thursday and by request on Friday and Saturdays.

Colleen joins Essential in 2022 as an aesthetician and laser technician. Colleen has years of experience with our IPL Stellar M22 and loves treating acne - she just loves results! She is known for her love to chat and always has so much fun with her clients.
Colleen is available on Wednesday through Saturday.
Kaela Bradbury joined Essential in 2023 as a Master Aesthetician and Licensed Laser Technician. She is a Boston native who graduated from aesthetician school in 2021. Her favorite treatments to perform are a relaxing back facial and Dermaplaning! Fun fact: she's related to Colleen and loves tacos!
Kaela is available Tuesday, Friday and Saturdays.
You will find Jenny behind the front desk on Wednesday, Thursday and Saturdays to help clients from when they arrive to saying goodbye. She loves helping others feel great and spoiled during their time with Essential. Jenny speaks English and Spanish and can help translate for clients too!
Julie Slattery, DScPAS, MS, PA-C, joins Essential as an aesthetic injector with years of aesthetic experience and as a Physician Assistant at Boston Children's Hospital. She has a passion for making others feel more confident and providing safe treatments with beautiful results. She is a RI native who has been in Boston for many years and loves treating patients who are looking for a refresh.
